French Hussars carbine, pattern 1786.

French Hussars carbine pattern 1786. Short wood mounting, all brass metallic parts,except the barrel ring and rod. Five short faces barrel, marked  « 87 » on rear, with good crowned stamp beneath. 1777 system flintlock platina, with St Etienne engraving erased, but good stamp Inside (the great spring is a little smooth). Good ramrod and rod with a curious « S » design on rear part.   This weapon is in really good conditions, particulary the wood mounting, very close to brand new conditions.   Price : 2 500 Euros....

Factory scale model of a first world war German gun

Factory scale model of a German first world war, Type FH 98/09 light howitzer. The campaign 105 mm light howitzer was adopted by German army in 1909. It was produced in 1260 exemplary till 1918 . This really big scale model (4,6 kg) is totally made in aluminum, steel and brass. Wood was only used for wheels. It is marked FRIEDRICH  KRUPP 10 5 ESSEN 1917 on the tools box and was built in the Krupp’s factory which provide the most part of the 1260 real guns. Repainted in « panzer grau » colour, there is some paint losses and repaints. Dimensions : length : 70 cm height : 32 cm width : 32 cm diameter of wheels : 22,5cm Price : 980 Euros.                  ...

French cavalry officer saber so called « à garde perlée »

Cavalry officer saber, circa end of XVIII th, with « garde perlée » mounting. Long pommel ornated with chevrons and palms. Straight pearled angle guard. Large « oreillons »and flat ball quillon. Curved Solingen blade (84 cm), engraved « A W » on the back and classical designs of flowers and weapons trophys. Original blue and gold are still present (60 % for blue and 20 % for gold). Black leather on wood scabbard with three brass parts ornated with engraved flowers, weapons trophys, flags and drums. Steel tip piece typicaly ornate in the end of the XVIII th century style. Gold plated brass mounting. Pistol butt style pommel with a lion head, engraved on both sides with swords and laurels. Gard with an Athena’s head on the central place. Ebony grip. Plate with a siting Athéna on weapons shields and pikes (one with a « lys » flower). Antique warrior with an helmet « quillon ». French dragoons officer saber Mle 1784 Arco “garde de bataille” mounting (Arco was a brass, richer than usual in copper). All the mounting is present, without any apparent crack or missing. The principal branch is only a little twisted. Long pommel, ebony grip (crack) with wire. Light curved blade (83,5 cm) with a large fuller (grey patina). Good leather scabbard with three Arco pieces, the final element (44,5 cm) with a steel tip. Circa end of Louis XVI regn/ Revolution. Price...

Trooper hussars saber, end of XVIIIth century All steel mounting, long pommel, single guard branch in straight angle, bars “oreillons”. Leather on wood grip. Curved blade (77 cm)with three fullers (light grey patina whith war sharpening). All steel scabbard, flat back, two steel rings. Circa end of XVIIIth century.
