Hungarian or Austrian hussars officer saber

Hungarian or Austrian hussars officer saber, circa 1760. All brass mounting, fully engraved with lines. Long « spoon » pommel and typical straigh angle guard. Two large « oreillons » with lines ornaments. Brass wired leather on wood grip. Hooked quillon. Very curved Styrian blade (77,5 cm) stamped on one side. Two thin fullers along the back. Wood scabbard with two heavy and long brass pièces. The back of the upper one presents a long cutting for allowing the blade removing. Two brass rings and very big size steel tip. French pattern « AN XI » light cavalry saber

French pattern AN XI light cavalry trooper saber, circa Consulate/first Empire era. All brass mounting with long pommel and leather on wood grip. Round main branch with two stamps on flat side : « M » (JJ Mouton) and « LW » (B Levavasseur). Hooked ball quillon. White curved blade (87,5 cm) with a single fuller, stamped « M » and « LW » on rear. Engraved :  » M f ture du Klingenthal Coulaux Frères Entrep rs » on back. Good all steel scabbard (with the original wood part Inside), stamped « V » near the top. Two other stamps on the tip element. Price : 1 600 Euros....

French heavy cavalry saber, pattern 1816

All brass mounting, short pommel, and leather on wood grip with twisted brass wire. Main curved branch (stamped « 251 » in the middle). Three secundary branches ended with balls on the plate. The rear part of the plate is stamped « B » for J A Bisch (active in Klingenthalk between mlay 1817 and March 1825). Straight blade in grey patina (98 cm) with two fullers, engraved on rear : « Manuf re Rale du Klingenthal Mars 1822 ». Three oval stamps on rear : « L » for Lobstein, « B » for JG Bick (both in charge of quality control) and another « B » for JJ Bureau who was the manufacture director since  1819. Heavy steel scabbard also stamped on several parts. SOLD....

All brass mounting, short pommel engraved with laurels. Brown wired horn grip. Single guard with a median ciseled ring. Ball quillon engraved with flowers. French Navy high rank officer saber

Circa Louis-Philippe era. All ciseled and golded brass mounting. Long pommel engraved with flags and scales. The top piece with a ciseled St Jacques shell. Holeworked shell, fully ornate on one side with aquatic plants. In the middle, an Anchor with the royal crown on top. Flat blade (70,5 cm) with round back, in grey patina.
